Most raids do not do the solo trials and the group trials, namely:
1.1 Fire, Survivor
1.2 Thieves, Retrieval
1.4 Barrier
1.5 Lord Krojer, Conflict (solo)
 

If you are running a raid, it is wise, but not necessary to do the (battle group) trials in the following order:

Items you need to lead ML1:

All items may be purchased in any Haven.

Nedfall Entrapment Gem (used on ML 1.6 Curses)
Negative Absolution Belt (used on ML 1.6 Curses)
Ruby (used on ML 1.10 Cetus)
Crown (used on ML 1.10 Cetus)
Ring (used on ML 1.10 Cetus)
Mirror (used on ML 1.10 Cetus)
 

1.1 - Survivor (group) aka Fire Island

 This is the most difficult trial to get done, not because it is hard, but because you need the right group set-up to do it easily. Make sure you have a druid with you with at least yellow con fire resists for this trial

There are 2 ways to do this trial..

First and easiest by far is with a pet class who is a ML 9 convoker, or with a charmed salamander pet.

Second and a little more difficult is with a shield tank, healers, and various other tanks and casters.

To start the trial, speak to Ianator on either bridge of the island. Once you speak to him you will have one (1) minute for everyone to get on the island.

The Trial needs to be completed in the following order:

Sunkaio, Zopuero, Athios

First kill Sunkaio, he has a nasty fire DD (Direct Damage) spell that he spams non-stop, whoever is attacking Sunkaio directly needs to be spam healed.

Second kill Zopuero, he has fire pets called purros that are near him, you do damage to the purros to kill Zopuero. Easiest way is to have a caster stun the purros, hope it takes and DD until the purros explodes in an AOE fire attack or it dies, rinse and repeat until Zopuero dies. Note: Zopuero can be killed in one shot if you have a pbaoe class with you and they can stun the purros near the group and then pbaoe the purros to death, more damage done to the purros equals more damage done to Zopuero. [Note: If you are using a pet class to do these steps, put your pet on passive before you start on Zopuero]

Last kill Athios, he is melee only, he is highly resistant to magic damage of any kind. If you have a pet class, you can Focus him, or tanks and casters alike can all beat him down.

Be careful if you are using pets. The island that 1.1 is on is a dangerous island, once the encounter is activated, only 8 people may be on the island, if more than that are on it, the guardians attack and wipe everyone. Pets count as bodies on this island. Also, stay away from the bridges and water of the island, get to close and you die a horrible death.

A Nedfall Entrapment Gem will drop, it is used for ML 1.6, no real need to keep it at this time, another one can be purchased in the haven if you plan on completing the trial at a later time
 

1.2 - Retrieval (group)

While this is a group step, it can be soloed.

The trial starts in Mesothalassa near the Bracer of Zo’Arkat encounter at 27k 25k. Find Lornas and speak to him to begin the encounter.

Lornas will tell you a story and ask you to kill Borjan, a blue con mob to a 50. Lornas will tell you where Borjan can be found if you click on him again after he is done talking to you.

"south and west of Mesothalassa", try at 24k, 44k Meso on a big rock

"west in the Skyros territory", try 5k, 20k Meso on top of a rock

"north, near Kithara’s Sanctuary" try 27k, 6.5k Meso

"east in the Naxos territory", try 54k, 24k Meso near the large rock

If Lornas states he is busy, it means one of the thieves is in combat, simply wait a minute or two and try again.
 

1.3 - Greater Good (battle group)

This is another easy step, it can be done solo (not all classes can solo it though), as a group, or as a battle group.

You need to kill one of the Chiefs. There are two locations (loc) for this encounter, either one will work for credit.

First loc is 42k 2.6k Mesothalassa, west of the ML 1.10 dungeon entrance.

The second loc is 46k 58k Oceanus Boreal.

It makes no difference which Chief you kill, both will tell you a tale of how the other clan are nothing but murderous thieves. Both Chiefs con blue to yellow to a 50 and are surrounded by about 15-20 green adds.
 

1.4 - Barrier (group)

This step is fairly easy with a small group.

You need to go to 28k 31k Oceanus Hesperos and locate Fadrin/Fadrin’s Barrier at the bottom of the ocean in the middle of a lot of sea weed and blue to yellow agro. If you are having a hard time finding him, swim closer to the bottom and look for a rock in the middle of the sea weed, as you get closer you should see a glowing barrier, make sure you have spell effects on to see it.

Have your tanks, pets or ML 9 pet beat on Fadrin’s Barrier, it will con yellow. Once the barrier drops immediately start attacking Fadrin, he will con red. If you stop attacking for any reason, he will bring his barrier back up and you will have to start all over again. Keep a caster or two near your healer to keep any wandering agro off of them.

Note: Fadrin’s Barrier is melee only, but once the barrier is gone, Fadrin can be killed with magic.

When Fadrin drops, a Negative Absolution Belt will go to a group member, it is used for ML 1.6, there is no real need to save it, you can buy it in the haven if you plan on doing ML 1.6 at a future time.
 

1.5 - Conflict (solo)

This is a solo step, and at this time there is a bug that will not allow you to use any pets what so ever to help complete this trial. Be sure to have a healer friend come out and assist you in completing this trial.

Go to 52k 35k (approx) Oceanus Anatole (Volcanus) and at the bottom of the sea you will find Lord Krojer and 6 named mobs. Speak with Lord Krojer to begin the encounter.

Note: You only have to kill 1 mob to get credit for ml 1.5, but, you get a very nice template ring if you kill all 6 mobs before ending the encounter. You do not have to kill them all the same day as long as you do not talk to Lord Krojer’s wife, Lady Farahnaz, and end the encounter.

Agnon: is a hunter, he has a spear, but is pretty easy. Agnon also has a pet crocodile, which cons blue

Sethrender: this one is a friar type.

Xalarian: this one is one of the toughest in my opinion, he uses a lot of dex debuffs and aoe mezzes. Xalarian can also teleport from one place to another inside of the arena.

Jilena: she has a 1 handed axe and a shield. Jilena's combat speed is very high, and she also has an instant DoT.

Malison: is very easy. He has a shield, debuffs sometimes, and stuns.

Regent: has a 2 handed sword and some debuffs.
 

1.6 - Curses (battle group)

This is a battle group step but can also be done with a group or pet class and healer duo.

This step is at 41k 24k Oceanus Anatole (Volcanus), near 1.1 step.

If you have the Negative Absolution Belt and a few Nedfall Entrapment Gems, Kirkleis is easy to kill, you can take him down with a ML 9 pet, a charmed and buffed salamander pet or simply zerg him with tanks and casters.
 

1.7 - The Monument (battle group)

This encounter starts at 35k 12k Oceanus Anatole (Volcanus). There is a platform with 6 or 7 circular pads and columns supporting a complete dome. To start this encounter, a person needs to be standing on each of these pads, they cannot move off the pads once the encounter begins until the final mob is dead.

Once the encounter begins, statues will spawn and as you kill them more and harder to kill statues will spawn until the boss mob, Rassa, spawns. Once Rassa is dead, the people on the pads may move off them.

The easiest way is to have all your healers stand on the pads and have your tanks and casters in the center ready to kill. The healers will not get aggro and will be able to keep the casters and tanks alive.
 

1.8 - The Ruby (battle group)

Located at 15k 50k Oceanus Notos (Aerus), this encounter is under water. You will find Hammerhead Sharks swimming around at the bottom of the ocean floor. When you see the broadcast message:
